More Creative Play and Inspiration – When Nothing Feels “Done”

This week felt like the babies didn’t sleep (they didn’t) and the work I had planned on finishing for some upcoming deadlines didn’t get done (really not even a bit of it) but I did find some space for creative play, had some conversations I really enjoyed, and read. I had wanted so badly to make significant progress on a few of the projects I mentioned last week but no amount of scheduling could have prepared me for the how much my babies seemed to need me this week and that’s okay. So here’s a reminder of some of the beautiful things that happened because every week isn’t brilliantly productive in the ways we hope or expect.

I made a test fabric mobile and dragged it around all week. I really enjoy all the beautiful shapes it can morph into even though from a construction standpoint this was a pretty big failure:

Learned a bunch more about planets and moons with Savine plus had a blast painting.
